I’ve since found an open 32-bit SPARC microprocessor, the LEON, but unfortunately it’s in VHDL rather than Verilog which I don’t know

I must get round to playing with one of the 32-bit processors at some stage…

The sparc is an open design full stop so a good google might find lots of interesting varients under open licences. It’s used extensively in the space industry, or so I am led to believe.

I really fancy playing with an fpga and was only chatting about it a week or two back.
